From October 17, 2017 to December 19, 2017, Stray Kids, the TV series, gave birth to Stray Kids, the JYP Entertainment K-pop boy group. It was in the vaguest sense reminiscent of how JYP had used the TV series Sixteen in 2015 to create Twice. And like Twice, Stray Kids have built up a vast fandom in the times since. Following their predebut Mixtape EP in January 2018, Stray Kids officially debuted on March 25, 2018, with the mini-album I am NOT and the lead single “District 9” releasing one day later. • Bang Chan is 26 years old and was born on October 3, 1997.
• Lee Know is 25 years old and was born on October 25, 1998.
• Changbin is 24 years old and was born on August 11, 1999.
• Hyunjin is 24 years old and was born on March 20, 2000.
• Han is 23 years old and was born on September 14, 2000.
• Felix is 23 years old and was born on September 15, 2000.
• Seungmin is 23 years old and was born on September 22, 2000.
• I.N is 23 years old and was born on February 8, 2001.

Former member Woojin was born on April 8, 1997. He departed Stray Kids on October 28, 2019 for “personal reasons.”

When the original Stray Kids series began airing back in October 2017, the trainees were the following ages: Woojin was 20, Bang Chan was newly 20, Lee Know (Lee Minho) was narrowly still 18, Changbin was 18, Hyunjin was 17, Han (Han Jisung) was 17, Felix was 17, Seungmin was 17, and I.N (Yang Jeongin) was 16. And when the group finally, officially debuted in March 2018, they were the following ages: Woojin was narrowly still 20, Bang Chan was 20, Lee Know was 19, Changbin was 18, Hyunjin was newly 18, Han was 17, Felix was 17, Seungmin was 17, and I.N was 17.

I.N is the maknae, meaning he is the youngest member of Stray Kids, whereas Woojin was originally the oldest member. When Woojin left, Bang Chan became the oldest member of the group, and Bang Chan has always been the leader of Stray Kids, in addition to an important creative musical force in the group.
