How Tall Are the NMIXX Members?

At JYP Entertainment, Twice’s Tzuyu once remarked that she was struck by how tall and thin the members of K-pop girl group NMIXX appeared to her the first time she saw them. However, Twice is known for having some shorter members, and Tzuyu herself is the tallest member of that group — so fans have joked that maybe her perspective had simply become skewed. Is that actually the case? Well, unfortunately, hard data is lacking in some respects at the moment. But based on all currently available information, here is what we know about how tall NMIXX members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin are, plus approximately how to order them from tallest to shortest height.

How Tall NMIXX Members Are: Height for Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, & Kyujin

  • Bae is 170 cm tall or 5’7″.
  • Sullyoon is 167 – 168 cm tall or 5’6″.
  • Lily is reportedly 163 – 164 cm tall or about 5’4 1’2″.
  • Kyujin is estimatedly 163 cm tall or 5’4″.
  • Haewon is 162.8 cm tall or 5’4.”
  • Jiwoo is estimated to be 161 – 162 cm or 5’3 1/2″.

As seen above, it would appear that the correct way to order the NMIXX members from tallest to shortest height is Bae, Sullyoon, Lily, Kyujin, Haewon, and Jiwoo. However, this cannot be stated with absolute certainty at this time, owing to insufficient data.

The above data is derived from several sources, and unfortunately, only the measurements for Bae, Sullyoon, and Haewon can be presented with a degree of confidence at this time. Bae and Haewon actually self-reported their own heights directly on an NMIXX live stream on September 2, 2023. Sullyoon likewise described her own height as 167 – 168 cm during a fan-sign event on March 26, 2022. Data for Lily and Jiwoo’s heights are less reliable, but allegedly, NMIXX described Lily as being 163 – 164 cm and Jiwoo as being in the low 160s for cm in a fan meeting from October 2022; Jiwoo also allegedly stated that she believed she was the shortest member at that time. Lastly, there is seemingly no stated height for Kyujin from her or anyone else in NMIXX, forcing observers (including we ourselves) to make an estimation of her height relative to that of the other members. We confess that this is highly unreliable, which is regrettable, and we will stay vigilant about finding better data.

Image dated to September 24, 2022: This is probably the best photo of all the NMIXX members lined up without wearing shoes. However, individual posture and the age of the image affect its utility as an image for comparing members’ heights. Pictured from left to right: Bae, Jiwoo, Kyujin, Sullyoon, (former member) Jinni, Haewon, and Lily.

Two factors complicate this NMIXX height data even further. One is that, as Bae and Haewon noted themselves in the aforementioned live stream, JYP Entertainment (and many companies) discourages idols from talking about their actual heights, for one reason or another. The other factor is that the NMIXX members are still young on the whole, and it is highly possible that one or more members has continued growing since the last time data was shared about their individual heights. The result is that we have a frustratingly uncertain picture of how tall the NMIXX members genuinely are at this time. However, as more, better data becomes available in the future, this space shall be updated accordingly.

That is the best answer at this time to how tall NMIXX members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin are, as well as how one might arrange them from tallest to shortest. Check back often for more data that might enhance this explanation. In the interim, you can take a look at how tall the Itzy members are next.
