How Tall Are the Itzy Members?

JYP Entertainment girl group Itzy contains many striking beauties, but are they statuesque beauties? Historically, it has been difficult to describe with precision how tall the individual members are, and unfortunately, there is some slight ambiguity involved even now. However, we have accumulated the most reliable information that is currently available on the subject. So based on all available height information, here is how tall Itzy members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are, including roughly how tall they are when ordered from tallest to shortest.

Explaining How Tall Itzy Members Are: Height for Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna

  • Yuna is 170 cm tall or 5’7″.
  • Yeji is 167 cm tall or 5’5 3/4″.
  • Chaeryeong is reportedly 166 cm tall or 5’5 1/4″.
  • Ryujin is estimatedly 164 cm tall or 5’4 1/2″.
  • Lia is 162 cm or 5’3 3/4″.

These heights are currently drawn from several sources, some of which are more reliable than others, but the information for Yuna, Yeji, and Lia is confirmed accurate on video by the members themselves. Yuna stated in a Wired Autocomplete Interview published in January 2023 that she is 170 cm. Yeji specified herself that she is about 167 cm in a Studio Choom video published in March 2021. Lia joked about being 162 cm since elementary school in a VLive video of uncertain date that is available for viewing via fan reupload of the relevant section.

It has been reported more than once, seemingly without video confirmation each time, that Chaeryeong has stated that she is 166 cm. At a fan meeting on August 10, 2019 (when she was 18 years old), she reportedly said she is 166 cm. It has also been claimed that, on an unspecified date, Chaeryeong said on Bubble that she is 166 cm. Bubble is a paid service where idols and fans can message each other, (Itzy joined Bubble on December 28, 2020.) and there are no screenshots of this alleged Bubble message. In the past, it had been claimed that Chaeryeong was 168 cm, but in a fan meeting on December 10, 2022, she explicitly denied being that height.

Lastly, there does not appear to be a highly credible source for Ryujin’s height anywhere online. It has been alleged that Ryujin was listed as 163 cm during the filming of Mixnine (when she was 16 years old), but we have not been able to independently verify that. K-Pop Answers avoids speculation as much as possible, but for the moment, it appears unavoidable in describing how tall Ryujin is among the Itzy members. If we refer back to the aforementioned VLive video that confirmed Lia’s height, that same clip demonstrates Ryujin standing back to back with Yeji and Chaeryeong, without shoes, at different moments. Ryujin is notably shorter than both — but not by a significant margin. As such, K-Pop Answers estimates that Ryujin is around 164 cm, and this 164 cm is a number that is popularly speculated around the internet as well. (Of course, it is important to note that popularity does not equate to confirmation.) We will stay vigilant about locating a better, primary source of data.
