It’s not easy for a K-pop group from a small company to make a big splash right from debut, but that’s basically what S2 Entertainment girl group Kiss of Life accomplished with their self-titled debut mini-album back in July 2023. The group released an incredible six music videos for that album, including a solo song and video for each individual member, all shot in Hungary. And while it was too much to expect that much content for each of their comebacks, it still set an impressive bar for what the KISSY fandom can expect from the group. So let’s keep looking ahead. Here is the complete answer as to when Julie, Natty, Belle, and Haneul made their latest Kiss of Life comeback, this time with their first single album, Midas Touch.
The Kiss of Life Comeback Happened on April 3, 2024 with Midas Touch
Kiss of Life came back on April 3, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. KST with their first single album, Midas Touch. The album contains two songs, “Midas Touch” and B-side “Nothing.” Earlier, on March 11, 2024, S2 Entertainment released “Short” teasers for what is coming, including one with potential song lyrics: “I wanna breathe. We’ll let you breathe.”
Previously, the second Kiss of Life mini-album, Born to be XX, was released on November 8, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. KST. S2 first teased the official tracklist on October 20, 2023, with a short video called “I have Bad News,” which revealed very fast glances of an imaginary newspaper containing all of the songs and information about them. Born to be XX contains seven songs in total, and their titles are as follows: “Bad News,” “Nobody Knows,” “My 808,” “TTG,” “Gentleman,” “Says It,” and “Bad News” (English version). “Bad News” and “Nobody Knows” are double title tracks for Born to be XX, and they are intended to express “perspective and duality” together. Each received a music video, beginning with “Bad News” and “Nobody Knows” following a week later.
