K-pop belongs to the world these days, in more ways than one, and one of the largest consumers of K-pop besides South Korea itself has always been Japan. As such, it only made sense when HYBE Labels Japan (originally called “Big Hit Japan”) ran the 2022 survival competition series &AUDITION – The Howling –, which created the international idol group, &Team. &Team officially debuted on December 7, 2022 with First Howling : ME, after releasing its lead single, “Under the skin,” earlier on November 22, 2022. To explain exactly how old the &Team members are right now, here is the current age and birthday for K, Fuma, Nicholas, EJ, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki.

- K is 26 years old and was born on October 21, 1997.
- Fuma is 25 years old and was born on June 29, 1998.
- Nicholas is 21 years old and was born on July 9, 2002.
- EJ is 21 years old and was born on September 7, 2002.
- Yuma is 20 years old and was born on February 7, 2004.
- Jo is 19 years old and was born on July 8, 2004.
- Harua is 19 years old and was born on May 1, 2005.
- Taki is 19 years old and was born on May 4, 2005.
- Maki is 18 years old and was born on February 17, 2006.
At the time that &Team officially debuted in December 2022, the members were the following ages: K was 25, Fuma was 24, Nicholas was 20, EJ was 20, Yuma was 18, Jo was 18, Harua was 17, Taki was 17, and Maki was 16. Using K-pop terminology, Maki is the maknae (“youngest member”) of &Team, while K is the oldest member. There are more than than eight years between the two, which is definitely one of the wider gaps in K-pop ages! (Cherry Bullet still has them beat though.) However, EJ is the leader of &Team, and Fuma is the sub-leader.
