GFriend may have disbanded, but the strength of their song catalogue speaks for itself, with varied hits like “Rough,” “Navillera,” and “Time for the Moon Night.” It was the group that put Source Music on the map long before Le Sserafim came into being, and since the dissolution, the members have all pursued rewarding individual endeavors, with three members (Eunha, SinB, and Umji) even reuniting to form Viviz at BPM Entertainment. GFriend debuted on January 15, 2015 with the album Season of Glass and the lead single “Glass Bead,” and Viviz debuted on February 9, 2022 with the mini-album Beam of Prism and the lead single “Bop Bop!” So let’s catch up with our old buddies in GFriend and Viviz, and if you want to know how old they are, here is the age and birthday for Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji.

Back when GFriend originally debuted in January 2015, the members’ ages were as follows: Sowon was 19, Yerin was 18, Eunha was 17, Yuju was 17, SinB was 16, and Umji was 16. And when Viviz debuted back in February 2022, Eunha was 24, SinB was 23, and Umji was 23. In either case, Umji was and is the maknae of the group, meaning she is the youngest member. Sowon was the oldest member of GFriend and also its leader. Viviz has no leader because, as SinB explained shortly after Viviz’s debut, “We said to each other that Sowon is our only leader.”
